I fucking love Drive and its style, but in this movie Refn has fucked up his style. I have a weak for slow movies, but saying that this is slow is the greatest understatement of all time. Probably one of the dullest movies i ever saw. The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford is in comparison with this an action movie. I even felt for a moment in sleep in the middle of the movie. The only good thing is how it got shot and the pictures they'd showed. But for the rest is this not a movie i want to watch twice.

insider info: i am near enough the most negative and judgemental man in the world when it comes to movies so u know this shit is legit.
15 minutes? I spent the next couple of days in a haze. This is probably the most life-changing film I've ever seen. I'm not even saying it's technically a good film (I love it, but I'd forgive 90% of people for hating it), It feels like it's about 18 hours long, but there are some incredibly profound moments. The scene with the funeral... fuck.

you guys should watch human nature (kaufman script). not that it is as intellectual as synedoche but it has some truly brilliant and funny bits.

Yeah, not sure what else you can say. In some ways it is uplifting, but in an awful lot of ways it makes you question your existence. I hate saying that sort of shit about films, but it actually did.

Briefly looked at the IMDB page. Tim Robbins, Rhys Ifans and Partica Arquette sounds alright.

I think it's clear that this is not gonna be one of the best movies of all times, but to be honest i actually enjoyed this movie. It did what it had to do and the creator knew what the movie was so that i didn't had to watch a movie that pretented to be intellectual movie like Spring Breakers did.

8/10. Will watch some more Ken Loach films. The photography in this is stunning and I've never been to Yorkshire in the 60s but from what I read this movie is the pinnacle of social realism in rural England. Feels like it too.

Watched Gravity (in 3D), Sandra Bollock panicking for over an hour and a half after 30 mins from the calmest man ever in space, Clooney.
Best bit: 3D Froggy.
Worst bit: 3D Lens Flare.

spring breakers was hands down the best movie this year
no doubt the most important. not only because it picked up an arthouse tradition that has been away from main stream america for years. but because it's right in the middle of all the censored plastic mtv porn notions that play too big a part in most of the entertainment industry and mocking it by using it. it's exactly the same thing as lil b, who a lot of people dont get either.
a film is as much about the script as a piece of music is about the tab.

That was not what i saw when i've watched the movie in the movie theater.. But then again, i couldn't take it serious when i was watching it. Maybe that i'm gonna give it another watch with another state of mind in the following weeks.

Its ok if you highly rate the film but saying that is the most important film in the decade, essential fir the world we are living atm bla bla bla is just another crappy journlist trick fkr making your opinion more trascendent. An important film changes you, lads just imagine themself doing fiesta in ,exico when they see the film.
