Why would anyone feel the need to point out that their mix recorded "in one take" ? Surely pretty much every mix is done like that.

The document controller at work asked me to backup all her photos and movies from her camera since she got the camera years ago.
It was a folder of maybe 25gb.
This was months ago.
I needed space on my drive so I deleted the folder thinking I had given her dvds with the data.
Turns out I hadn't given it to her and she mentions it was all the photos and movies from the birth of her child onwards, birthday parties, christening, Mom's b-day before she died, etc.

It's like mixes that say "RECORDED LIVE"...of course it's recorded live, it's not going to be recorded recorded is it?


Or worse, 'recorded live and in one take'...make me have severe doubts about a DJ if they need to blow their own trumpet when SHOCK HORROR they actually manage to hold it together for more than 20mins at a time.

I told her and she admitted that she is partly to blame for not asking me to back it up before.
It's a total accident but it sucks that I've deleted her son's early years
And now she says he's asking if he can see his baby videos.
