One of the few TV Series to crossover to film that keeps in the spirit of the original TV series (and I'm a Partridge fanboy); had me in stitches.
Lovely Stuff

Partridge film was decent but hes definitely better suited to TV.
I wonder whats next for Partridge? Started out on a spoof Radio show, then The Day Today, then he had his own chat show, then his life after a chat show, did a documentary style show about himself, TV interviews, written a book, did the first internet TV series (I think) and now a film. Can't be much else left? Been consistently brilliant through it all too.

In the last two days i managed to watch:
Gravity: Pretty good
Django Unchained: Good but not as well written or filmed as other Tarantino films
The Cabin in the Woods: Shite, don't know where the hype for this came from when it came out
Prometheus: Boring story/script, shit actors.

Cabin in the Woods is sick. What the fuck.
Also Prometheus is better than Alien/s, just said it.

the 'best' bit in alien is in the third one with the prison planet - just when sinead o conner is about to get r*ped by this guy, he just has to put on his sung glasses in the most ceremonious way - like he was about to weld something.

Watched Spring Breakers last night, was pretty good. Movie of the year though?! Behave!
I think people are looking a bit too much into it - was it really much more than tits and guns?

What? :lol:Alien is the best movie in the franchise, m8.
Although my opinion is that Shame is great and 12 Years a Slave has the potential to be great ('cause i didn't see the movie yet), i find it a little bit hard to actually dig this movie. That's because it's most of the time boring as fuck 'cause it's very monotone and there's not that much happening on the screen (with the exception that he's playing with the camera the whole 96 minutes). The only highlight of the movie is a dialogue of fifteen minutes that's not only the first and last dialogue, but also one that put you in the movie and really let you empathize with the protagonist. But for the rest it's not that must-see movie everyone says it is.
And big up for that shit on the wall that looks like a abstract piece of art.
6.5/10

In my opinion, I believe that Prometheus is a better than Alien/Aliens. This is based purely on my no fun to fun factor scale, where Alien/s reached a peak of 6 at most and Prometheus was a solid 8.8.
