I'm listening to early Kode9 tracks and wishing I was at home in front of the DAW right now :(

I know there are many other threads where i can find good tunes, but i trust the people posting on here. Let's say i've just recently discovered my love for massive sub bass. Here in the US dubstep is just completely trashed, practically on the daily i hear the words Skrillex and Dubstep used together, as well as every other 'grindstep' 'brostep' 'dirtstep' or whatever the hell you want to call it, producer. Its like a disease being spread around. And there isn't anything most people can do. Promoters, local clubs, LITERALLY every conversation around dubstep is based on this stuff. Real Dubstep just didn't seem to make it over seas as easily as it should have.

But when i joined the forum and learned the truth, not only does do i correct everysingle person i come across to label datsik, excision, bar 9, 16 bit as dubstep. But It aggravates me! alot! The thing is, its not completely there fault. The media has picked up on it, and picked up on it big. Damn, i've heard friends who hear some crazy mid synth used in a commercial...Hey i hear dubstep!!! Haha but this isn't what im trying to post about...

Long story short:
So far I've discovered the works of Distance, Burial, Phaeleh, Jack Sparrow, Kode 9, and Sukh Knight. Send me some of you alls current favorite tunes at the moment! I'm trying to get some more music today! And i will listen to them all!

Love to the Office Steppers :t:

Edit: No negative posts, or im going to shit.

Im determined to find the awnser.

I've been using the search bar to try and find a good thread on speaker accuracy all morning, all i can find are threads on monitor/headphone quality.
If anyone can point this lost soul in the right direction, i'd appreciate the help.

Just to be a little more specific on my issue, i was mixing a track and it sounded find at my home setup but once i played it in my car the mix was complete shit. This is the second track the mix has been way off from what i think is the speakers i'm producing on. Btw, im using a shitty 30watt guitar amp for my mid-upper range. Then i have a decent sub that was previously used for movies/dvds.

Working from home today as I've got my run this evening. Mildly bricking it to say the least as it'll be my first time actually 'racing' as opposed to just exercising as I have been before. Having serious doubts about whether I can make it round without having to resort to walking at some point.

Also, the guidelines I've been sent say I can't run with headphones in, which is annoying

I may go to work tomorrow. I do on the days I feel like it. Benefit of being young and 'the man' being my dad.
...in my opinion

Weeks going well. Days going well. All my work done by lunch, so went out by the sea and had a blunt and ate my spicy chicken pasta. Back in the office, making last few calls, and thinking where to take the camera out tonight.
Girlfriend give me a huge surprise at the weekend in the form of another girl :L
And even better, my EP will be out this weekend, not the 7th July.

All is well.

Went well, had to have a bit of a walk around about the 3.5km mark, but that didn't last long as once I got near 4km I could hear the crowd at the finish, so I got back into it and sprinted the last bit. Ended up passing about 20 people on the home stretch which was very satisfying

Official times are getting posted later today. Think I was about the 28min mark, which am more than happy with for a first time attempt 8)
