MiscreanT wrote:STEVENIKKE - Would be a pretty good wobbly banger if the wobbly bass was beefed up a bit more, try doubling the bass and adding a different distortion effect to the 2nd version then high passing it and giving it a bit of reverb, good way to fatten things u! Also a 2nd mid range sound to play it off against would make it a bit more interesting.
Track i've just done, on listening back to it now its online im gona re-up it tomorrow once ive turned the 808 bass stabs up a tiny bit and brought the vocal clip at the beginning up so you can hear it properly(mistake before burning final wav). Aside from that it'd be good to know what people think of it

EZ
thanks for the advice! I'm listening to eight 0 weight right now, and one piece of advice that I do have is to turn up the bass and eq-ing it, the intro is dope and im feeling the drums big time

New tune up on the soundcloud page, Waitin' Fa Daddy. Rough mix, has at least 3db of headroom in it, I am open to crticism so please feedback as I can and will still change some things!

@TRPWR-dude I love the idea of this tune and I like the syle and flow a lot, but imo it is 1.) just too loud 2.) very discordant and difficult to listen too.
I think a few slight changes in the melody would help and turn down the master on the track a bit. I do like the idea though. I like Breathe in Breathe out better!!
@miscreant-Ilike the intro to eight 0 weight, drums sounding good, definitely mix it up a bit louder my friend, nasty sounds and good idea bit even with the headroom you want to have you can still turn up the tracks a lot sounds like!

I must first say that i like the idea, and have tried something bit like it in the past. But! The samples you have used for that piano are bit cheesy and lo-fi, so if that's what you are looking for it's cool... Otherwise try something else. Doesn't sound like a finished track, but definately has some potential. Way to go!
And now, somebody could give me some feedback on these:

Thanks already.

Most def the volume is too low on Levitators, may be just the myspace version, but the tune is fun has a good funky feel, bass sounding pretty good, I do think you could say more with a bit less samples though, just my opinion and I am a minimalist.
Badman City is nice and deep, dirty dirty. Love the intro too! Big up on this one. Bass sounding good and deep, maybe just a bit dry though, a bit flat, perhaps some extra wet on the reverb on the bass or just more/some reverb on the bass to warm it up. Tune sounding good though man, fun joints! Big up!

Thanks man, my hands are bit tied with the Levitators remix, as it is originally a live reggae song, and the band has some things to say about what I can strip off. Reverb on the Badman Citys bass sounds like a good idea, and I will try it.
And I just could't help it. I had to check out your myspace, and I'd love to get Cherish You as a .wav file. Could fit nicely in my next set.

I reckon isotope is sick, only things i was thinking was have you tried chucking some reverb on that snare? Might just be my personal preference though
Really enjoyed the sub

herzprod: really like the dark minimalism here. Production is really good too. I think it could use an alternate bass/beat section, but it flows nicely as is
d1rt1989: Loving the sounds in this. the bass is really unique. nice and atmospheric
Tripwire: I think this has potential, but unquantize the piano part, it sounds too GM midi-ish the way it is now. Also, turn everything down and dont push the limiter so hard.
Anyway, I have a new track up on my virb page called Breath. Minimalistic beat + sexy samples = fun times. Let me know if you want 320's
