No doubt these tunes are sick, but I want commodo to make more tunes like northern soul, surveillance or even gassin ( )

So far, all the hype has been justified imo. Great packages, great tunes, all offering something pretty different!

Fair does blud. For me, F_ck Mountain is the first dubstep tune that's caught my attention in ages, possibly at least a year. Backchat/Dubchat was amazing imo, and the Lurka release was well underrated if anything.

i'm with gareth on this, only one i wasn't feeling that much was the rachel one, otherwise the tunes are sick, yeah they market well and i rate how they do things, i even bought the special edition lighter fuck mountain
felt like a bit of a diked looking at the piece of paper and lighter that i'd paid extra for, but didn't change the fact that the tune is fire

I like them. Part of that may be because they're mastered really well too though.

still a case of hype > music imo

oh vinyl only releases cause it's the only proper format - swear it's only guys in the bass music scene that make a big deal out of this, in terms of releases i mean. at least guys like pev or pinch compile that shit on cd/digi after a while

just see a lot of hype around these younger bristol guys but the music's a bit underwhelming. and when i do like something it's some fucking limited nearly obsolete format only thing - like the lily & filter dread tapes

pinch's new Cold label is vinyl only, no digis anywhere
they dont make a fuss out of it, they just put it out - its other people that make the fuss. people should retain the right to release in whatever format they like without accusations of hype mongering imo. each to their own tho

I agree with ultra tbh, hotline releases aint all that... in terms of all the hype i think another thing that differs between kahn and pinch is i feel kahn sees the vinyl thing as his unique niche, whereas pinch just sees it as a rarer format that he'll release some tunes on. Its a question of how Compa can you get

Then again, you're just assuming that without actually knowing the reality. :cornlol:
