A lot of people were eagerly awaiting f*ck mountain long before it was announced for hotline, it would have sold just as many units on any other label imo

anyway I'm still waiting for hyperreal & free focus remix, both of those tunes are a mad ting

I thought Fuck Mountain was great and I don't like any new dubstep releases much any more. It's nothing to do with hype. I heard it a couple places and thought it was good. That's all. Then it was announced on hotline and I thought "That's great it' gonna come on a record mastered at Star Delta on a label that generally pays attention to having good sounding records to release". It's not some lame Compa style "Ooooh it's vinyl only. It's a statement. For real dubstep fans only" shit it's just a format people like to have stuff on and a sign that someone is going to have cared about the sound of it. I mean any tnuc can wack a tune through ozone and put it on juno and have it sound like arse and sit forgotten about on hard drive after the hype dies down but I still like grabbing the hotline releases off my shelf and giving them a play. Sure they're not super amazing or anything but they're solid good sounding dance floor records
