Re: Post your unpopular opinions.
Boddika is good, but his arrangements and sound design are a little formulaic tbh.

Re: Post your unpopular opinions.
It's okay. Just dubstep imo though.
Like literally what would've been done had DJs not been lazy and demanded 140bpm tunes for their sets.

Nevalo reckons om unit etc 160bpm shit is where it's at, and is bitter cus it's actually not. IIRC.
Anyway, people get too hung up on the 130/keysound shit being "the next thing" or whatever. That's a stupid way to approach music IMO. What matters is that the tunes in that area of music are more vibrant and cool than what most other dance music scenes are pumping out. It's not about it being THE NEW THING, it's just good tunes.

Re: Post your unpopular opinions.
You'd think with the amount of people saying that it's the next big thing, it would be the big thing already.
Good point about the approach there. I think all this prospecting around it will only hinder it as time goes on tbh. The reason dubstep happened was because it wasn't trying to. Different people from different places and points in life realized that there was music like their own being made in other places, all this seems a little contrived since people are essentially already going out of their way to make tunes that'll fit into a certain descriptor. They'll never get much more than a passing fad this way imo.

Rayman, your stuff is good, so is a lot of other people's, but it isn't where it's at.

yh lol what music do you like that's not from a white middle class background wolf?
meh that tunes alright, i like the samples and synths but the drums are just stale and don't rate the groove. most juke tunes seem to follow that kick pattern and i don't rate it tbh, also all the snare rolls are boring
if i heard it on a night out i would probably dance and like it but for home listening its poo IMO
