you want good terror movies, not slasher ones but you don't want old terror movies too, that is pretty difficult tbh you have to chooseAgent 47 wrote:im not really into old filmsDiegoSapiens wrote:i recommended this ones to green waffle some time agoadding to the listDiegoSapiens wrote:Onibaba by Shindo

safe
im only really on about 70-91 being good and 91 being the cutoff where they begin with too much cgi
1950 is like its robots instead of people
its funny that puppets are still the scariest form tho

i HATE slasher ones or any kind where a group die off one by one in the same place. boooring![]()
watched Event Horizon last nigh which i though was pretty sick, not sure if its a horror though. But pretty grim horror/thrillers are more what im looking for anyways
also, everyone seems to hate hostel? but i found the first two pretty entertaining, the locations n filming are sick imo
Dario Argento's Suspiria. The occult undertones and the visuals (color filters, deliberately artificial lightings) make for some great chills down your spine. It's about a girl who arrives at a german ballet schools and a series of cultist murders happen involving the authorities of the school. Old school m8.
Also if you haven't seen Rosemary's baby yet that's mandatory.

That's what I like about her, she's not the conventional type of hot which gives her an edge.
Plus she hasnt sold out to shit big blockbuster films just for the $
Re: Secret Ninja Movie Club (aka what have you watched latel
Zombie fleasheaters/ zombi 2 is amazing despite the title. Like a good film with the most amazing effects ever (like filming reallife sharks fighting makeupped/makedup zombies under water). The soundtrack is dope too. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rAAE3CjW70I
New york ripper, where the killer is a guy that quacks like a duck, brilliant actually!.
Cannibal Holocaust the first and without a doubt harshest xombi film.
I dont really like other zombie films tbh because of these^

Re-watched The Prestige and From Dusk Till Dawn
The Prestige
Rivalry between two magicians in the 19th century.
It's almost prefect to me. Has the right mix of everything I could want in a film.
9/10
From Dusk Till Dawn
Over the top action/monster giblet explosions with fun dialogue thrown in.
It's not a perfect film but it is just plain fun and I love it.
8/10
Also watched Trek Nation. Documentary about Gene Roddenberry's son trying to learn more about his father through Star Trek and its fans. I can't really rate it because I don't watch many documentaries, but as a Star Trek fan It was nice to learn more about its creator and fans.
