Off the top of my head, the best albums from dubstep bods are the Burials, the Clubroots, Guido - Anidea, Kryptic Minds - One Of Us, Distance - My Demons. But outside of that, all seem more like single artist compilations.

I used to quite rate Mako and Chemical Temple

It was all excellent, the earlier breaks stuff like Tokyo freeze and bloodline was some of my percys in days

Cyclical I rate right up there with my demons and one of us

i think wen's album would have been better as 3-4 singles

Also the Terror Danjah collab was actually just a wizzbit tune high passed with some drums and bass added. No mention of that anywhere withe release though

Nah, seen him do a 4 hour set a few weeks ago and it's the best set I've seen for ages, dub, grimey stuff, house, mad Indian sounding tunes, techno, garage, dubstep, all sorts

When I saw him recently he played some shite Ellie Goulding remix and a load of shit I've heard too many times. Skeng is not something to still get excited about hearing out by this point.

His live set in Turin was one of the highlights for me last year, and I wasn't even twisted for a change.


Plus his recent JustJam set was psychedelic loveliness.

Yeah sometimes i get the sense a selector will chuck in Skeng/Poison Dart/I Luv U out of nowhere just for the sake of getting some insta-crowd reaction but you can do some big mixes with all of these tunes that take it somewhere else.

Four Tet ending with Getto Kyote was a lot tho
