Haven't watched it yet, but glad to see there is 9 episodes out at once.

It's in the upper echelon of good shows imo - like the wire, true detective and that sort. Properly grim though.
Great series. Hopefully there's more seasons.
Although it is quite grime, some of it was a bit cringe worthy too. Second episode in particular.
The final scene of the finale with the twitch pissed me off, I was hoping he would be dead outright. Hopefully he comes back in a vegetable state, or not at all.

You sure it's not italy that is sort of cringe a lot of the time?
I mean with their terrible music and leather this and leather that..
Because catholicism does that to a country imo
Anyway there's certainly some almost unique bits in the writing, like how the viewers empathy is constantly turned around, or how someone not yet introduced like the motorbike kid, completely changes up proceedings or the switch up of locations all the time. So fucking dope ..
nice one

Right before the credit they showed Genny's body on the ground after being shot and he twitched showing signs of life.

Gommorah looks awesome.
I had Friday booked off work to go camping, but my lady had to work at the last minute so I sat about smoking spliffs and watching the second series of the Vikings which was utterly fucking righteous.

Watched the first few a couple of weeks ago... it's decent, but I haven't felt the need to go and watch more which is probably telling.

Vampire series based on his books of the same name.

Hmm... I'm a staunch Vampirosceptic.

about to start the Strain as well on a friends recommendation.
I'm enjoying Bojack Horseman, only 4 eps in but the whole season is up. fair warning though, it is no Rick and Morty, love that show so much.

The Leftovers is really good. It is a grower.
Boardwalk Empire is back for a final season

It gets proper dark after a few episodes. They take it in a weird direction, which is quite interesting.
Not your average cartoon that tries to get as many laughs out of every episode.
Voices are really good.

Noticed this last night!
I'm torn over whether to let my lady know now (and in which case watch one a week because she has zero patience) or wait a couple of months and binge the fuck out of it.

Rewatched the first three series of Trailer Park Boys on Netflix over the last week or so because the lady had never seen it. She's not entirely sold, but I've completely fallen back in love with it. Pretty sure I only watched up to about the 3rd series the first time around too, so I've got fuckloads of new episodes to watch. Thank you NetflixGod.
Still managing to hold off from Boardwalk Empire and the last series of SOA. Gonna dive in when I'm back from holiday and in need of cheering up!

ditto. can't believe how good it actually is and not in the sence of how funny or silly it is, more like the character development etc. It literally is one of the best tv shows and I think it only improves from season to season. The 7th season is imo the funniest one...
There's a movie prequel from 1999 that I had never seen. pretty different but cool aswell. .
