joined here a while ago but really starting to get into dubstep, 1st heard it through fabriclive37 earlier this year and the sound has just captivated me, i keep wanting to hear more and more, so thought a forum like this would be the best place to feed my new found taste for the steppy dub and so far twould appear i was right
still liking alot of what rusko does, seems a bit more comercial and more my kinda thing, alot of my mates hate this kinda thing so time to get new chums
loving the bootleg of dire straight - money for nothing atm !!!!!
so ya, hi

Glasgow is spoilt for choice mate, just check the events page. Though not really for the rusko end of things it has to be said.

I figure since im pretty new to the board, here goes.
Names Ryan The Lion. I come from the dirty south, and represent Atlanta Dubstep along w/ various other members of my squad who post on here quite often. I am not a dj, and although I produce some, i dont push my choons. I put in work to ensure that the Atlanta scene is progressing, and building a tight knit community. I enjoy mostly the more tearout style dubstep, but have been feeling the softer stuff a lot more lately.
Last DL: Hatcha 2002 mix via Blackdown
current projects we are working on:
Sub.traction // 3rd Wed of Every Month (dubstep showcase, highlighting the amazing local talent we have in Atlanta)
www.myspace.com/sub_traction
Sub.traction Radio// 2nd Tuesday of every month on Dubstep.FM (8pm-12midnight)
Next Headline Event: December 10th @ The Graveyard: JOE NICE, deco, atlanta dubstep dj's. $5/
we have been doing events here for a while, and are slowely and steadily progressing our local scene. Our monthly hits capacity every month, and our Headline events always seem to do really well as well. We do our best to keep out door cover as low as possible, in order to help expose the music to new people. this year our crew has brought 2562, Appleblim, Ramadanman, 12th Planet, Noah D, and our dj's have shared the stage w/ Skream, Benga, Joe Nice, Starkey, Djunya, Trillbass and many more.
really proud of our team, and our city. look forward to conversing w/ all of you!
thanks for reading

Yup. Do it proper.
Packo here. Hawaii representative. Actually, I fancy myself a hip hop/skratch dj, but dubstep is one of the greatest things to happen to electronic music, and i've been cuttin over dubstep/glitch stuff for a minute now, and it's fun as hell.
So here's a push to dubstep & turntablism. Carry on.

also me and a few of my mates are starting a sound system up in the cold north which we hope to take around the country. building the thing from scratch and we're not far off now and will be looking for some DJ's to play with us next year.

hello everybody
I'm new here to. I already listen to dubstep from like 2007-2008. We were the first of belgium to listen to that kind of music. I went for a year to south america where they have (almost) nothing of the d&n and dubstep scene. Now i came back and i love the evolution in the dubstep now, from influences from all around the world. I gonna start with dj but it costs a lot of money and i have to arrange that

.
I have a lot of favorit songs but now the best are:
shambalah remix 2009 (excision)

best ever
stagga sick as sin
pcp 16bit
ready to blow AKS
....
Looove dubstep, and some darkstep is aaalways fine
big up for the belgium crew!
