yeah you should show the hessle catalogue some love. first 7-8 releases are some of the best dubstep records released imho.

a lot of it is very repetitive and generic for me, whilst the hessle stuff is fairly unique and still sounds ridiculously fresh today. i also think its a lot more club friendly but that's just me. the hessle stuff is what i first listened to when i got into dubstep aswell so when i heard dmz/deep medi stuff it just wasnt that interested. too jah for me

Tectonic > Deep Medi

i agree with that too
i've never been into the deep medi dmz sound at all really
i still dont know what the fuss over the loefah lost dubs is all about

Loefah's best tunes are up there with the GOAT dubstep tunes, but his normal stuff is nothing to write home about imo

quite hard to compare massive back catalogues tho innit? like "these 200 tunes are better than these other 200 tunes"

agreed. both good labels - although medi has been quite hit or miss lately tbh - but tectonic has way more memorable tunes and albums, for me at least

this is true for loefah and coki imo. still love most of mala's tunes tho
