Re: DSF HipHop Dubs
I really like this, the beat is especially sick. The whole thing is pretty damn near perfect. Reminds me of Bonobo. Only thing is I'm not a massive fan of the intro - its not bad or anything, I just don't think it does the tune justice. If it was me I would start with the beat or the bass and then drop in the resampled goodness. meh just my opinion thoSoundcloud
can anyone give me some feedback love on this one ? I'm wondering if i can\should improve it (ofc there's always room for improvement, but, well u know what i mean) or if i just should leave it as is and move on to something else ?
Re: DSF HipHop Dubs

sweet drum programming on those tracks, especially like the wonky feel on staggeroverincnic wrote:first time iv ever posted beats anywhere tbh. more collections of sounds atm, very much wips. having lolads of trouble arranging.

obviously noiseyjack is lacking content in the sub frequencies, but as stated i suppose its wip, even tho the beat is tight, i feel it needs some more elements

Re: DSF HipHop Dubs
@ bob villian: the track is very well produced, the beat is tight and i like the weird starkey-like synth, but i feel the track is lacking some melody or some hook imo, but thats just subjective i guess
@ bertie b : i love the jazzy samples (vocals or trumpet or whatever it is), i feel u could have used it more than u did, also i think overall the track could use more variations
this said, if anyone wants to flame mine

Re: DSF HipHop Dubs
that beat and bassline got me headnodding at work

dont have much constructive feedback to give here, except maybe i dont feel the other synth coming around 1.18 ish, but it probably comes down to personal taste

Thanks for checkin it. I know what you mean, I thought it was lacking something, but couldn't think what to do so just went for the minimal vibe! I'll check some more later on. Work pc speakers do justice to no music

Re: DSF HipHop Dubs
some beats, staggerover updated hoping its getting better and legs added, did it all today. need to nail arrangements and details though. still pretty rudimentary compared to lots of the stuff posted.
