Hum... I wasn't digging it after it moved upstairs sorry. It lost that grimey-ness to it, felt like a DJ-worshiping house club - I left soon after.

Still, Joe Nice rocked it - the was the main reason I went anyway.

^ yeah i kinda agree and see where your coming from, however, if the sort of stuff joe's talking about pops off then it could potentially still be pretty live :!:

I think the move upstairs was so last minute the club wasnt warmed up or anything. But i did think the vibe was heavy once everyone got settled. It has got potential in Mass, even though I love 3rd base. Whats the feeling in here ? mass ? 3rd base ?

Definately not Mass. Far too house-y. Maybe move it the Telegraph on brixton hill? Same atmos as 3rd base, but over twice the size.....

you're loss mate, i felt the same way at first but once the system got cranked up and beers got flowing, the vibe was distinctively DMZ

i forgot to mention- in certain parts the bass was so heavy that my feet didnt feel like they were touching the ground (serious) and beers would not stay still on the bar, we were cracking nuf joke about that one!

Incredible night, venue upgrade was a triumph for the genre and the DMZ crew. All the DJ delivered massive tunes. Faves were Youngsta , Digital Mystiks & Skream...

The Mass is a great space, but the sound system just doesn't deliver.

Even when it got sorted out, on the main dancefloor, there was no bass - I mean the kind of bass we have become used to at plastic people and 3rd Bass- the kind of bass that makes your nose itch and hit in the chest when Horror Show came on last month. On the upper part, at the sides there was plenty of bass, but it was boomy- no definition and the high range was to far away.

I used to go to Moovement there. A great club, but the sound was rubish.

For me the sound was one of the main elements of DMZ. I hope it gets sorted or move back to 3rd bass.

It was one of them nights i'll quite simply never forget, ever!!!!

I've never been so shattered in my life though and still enjoyed it to the max, it was deep.

Big up Mala, Loefah and Coki for taking things FWD and beyond to the next level, if it werent for them we'd still be crammed in FWD once a month without knowing the potential of Saturday just gone.

spot on, i completely agree. upstairs was a huge dissapointment to me. yeah in some parts of the room the sound was clear but i couldnt feel it in all the usual places at all, it was either overdriven-heavy or not heavy enough or generally not hitting the spot. hopefully it will get sorted out tho as im sure the dmz lot themselves aren't overjoyed about the sound quality either
