I would say that House is the most diverse genre
I'd say hip hop is.
I'd say rap is okay at first, then that gets old and fucking boring so you move to hip hop, then you realize hip hop isn't doing anything new, just talks about the same shit on how "rappers on the radio aren't real" over and over again with 4 to five rhymes in one piece which makes no sense because they have no idea what the words even mean.

Anything that has to do with a bunch of rhyming without any sort of actual singing or without the "artist" playing an instrument while spitting a verse is just plain dull.
Surely you can appreciate the music though?
I can appreciate the samples they use, but after i hear a sample that sounds good I tend to look for the original song.

And i'd much rather listen to hip hop then rap, but I just got bored of it all after a while.

Surely this is a good image to have

Yeah but to me the image of metal is sweaty, greasy, unhygienic, weird, blokes moshing to unpleasant angry sounds with black nail varnish, (Doesn't this sound familiar minus the black nail varnish?).
This is just the image I associate it with it.
most of the metal bands i listen to just dress like regular guys

it was funny whenever my band turned up to play gigs, often the other bands (and most of the crowd) all had long greasy hair, cliche metal t-shirts and really baggy jeans then we rocked up wearing buttoned shirts, sensible jeans and smart shoes and proceeded to play music far heavier than any band on the bill that night. all the long haired metalheads couldn't fathom that a bunch of short haired, indie looking kids in regular clothes with a black guy on guitar could be the heaviest band of the night... by a long way

funny times

Questionable, I find nothing about deathcore or breakdowns, heavy.

I know nothing about your music taste, so a bit of a wildshot.

The latter is more instantly recognizable as metal than the former.

Yeh see I just can't bring myself to like any of these except the first track, but I would of never of guessed that the first track was classed as metal

All of these tracks are exact reasons why I don't like the music itself.
I also fail to see the big diversity between these

I could probably give a better effort of showing diversity than that though
