I don't like what he's released over the last year and that's my right as a listener. And I can voice that however I like. I've noticed that people over here are incredibly personally offended by statements criticising so-called 'established' producers. I don't know why.
All releases by 'recognised' producers can't be good. You should be able to voice some criticism. It's not a personal attack at you people for listening to it. You can enjoy all releases with or without questioning them, just don't expect everyone else to do so. And especially don't act like you've been personally kicked in the balls. It doesn't come over as particularly adult.

DSF has its negatives, but the positive far outweighs that.

name one really good song, didnt find any, ikonika had some good ones, but toooooo much atonality in her recent works for meh.

shit's non-tonal. atonality is something different. Anton Webern, Alban Berg. Arnold Schoenberg. late Stravinsky. look these guys up. 12-tone technique, pitch-class set theory, etc.

it would behoove you to know what you're talking about with regard to theory - but that's a digression to say the least.

Every aspect of an emerging scene is expressed here, it's a sort of critic's layer, a haven to criticize, nitpick the sour stuff.
But what the fuck do I know, I think the James Blake album is way overrated (but thats a different thread)
