If you do get bud do not bun in the fort honestly knew a few people that got gripped all undercover Feds. Brutal shit, smoke in appartments and that it's seriously not worth getting caught.

As for the UK, it really depends on where you are and when tbh. Wrong place, wrong time, and you will get arrested.
Well culturally I would say that it is accepted. ALL of the younger generation bun! It is just that the police use the opportunity for a big pay day! They must make a fortune over those 4 days... probably even match their annual salary!

Errr...the individual police don't get the money if it gets as far as people getting arrested and going to court. They only get it if people bribe them.

http://www.croatiatraveller.com/Transpo ... stria.html

So, if you are flying from Malta to Trieste you need to:
*Take a bus from Trieste airport to the coach station (the bus stop is right outside the airport door and tickets are available inside)
*Buy a ticket at the coach station and get on the right coach. It leaves at 14.30 (2.30PM)
*Enjoy the scenery for the three hour journey
*Exit the coach at Pula coach station and then get a taxi to the campsite or wherever it is you are staying. Agree a price with the taxi driver before you depart.
*Enjoy bass.

On the return journey I would suggest you stay in Croatia until the 7th because the coach from Pula to Trieste leaves at 05.00 (5 AM) so if you leave on the 4th you will have to miss some of the festival.

Hope this helps.
Hey mate, thanks a thousand!
However, I will clarify a bit what my schedule looks like:
ARRIVAL TO FESTI:
From: Malta - 18:45
Arrive: Venice Marco Polo Int - 20:45 (only available flight)
Probably I will simply stay over in Venice and take the direct coach to the festi for somewhat 35 quid

DEPARTURE HOME FROM FESTI:
Option a) 4th sept.
From: Venice Marco Polo Int - 21:10
Arrive: Malta - 23:05

option b) 7th sept.
From: Venice Marco Polo Int - 21:10
Arrive: Malta - 23:05

Seems like option a) is rather tricky, and I am aware that I will miss out a little on the festi...
The biggest questions are regarding how to get home from the festi at all on the 4th of september - Taxi to Trieste? With option b) I can easily take the festi coach yet again: Pick up time 13.00 7th sept. from Outlook; for flights departing Venice Marco Polo 21:00 or later.

Still wondering about this option NEPTUNE mentioned
"a return bus FROM Venice to Outlook - ticket is about 48 euros (we took the public transport, not the Outlook transfer buses"

Cheers!!
I've booked the flight on sunday the 4th. I don't mind missing part of the sunday program, it's probably just chilling out and ting.
the only problem is how to I get from pula to venice? flight leaves round half past 9pm so I would ideally leave round 1-2pm. bus should take round 4.5 to 5hours so that would be fine.

regarding neptune, did you book anything in advance? is there any timetable when the busses are leaving or something like that??

I'm not trying to overcomplicate things I just want them to be planned so I can enjoy the festival.

I'll be travelling alone on saturday because my mates probably stay till monday so if any1 wants to take a taxi to Trieste or so just send me a msg.

Hey I'm new to this post too, and all I wanna know is - can I get some nice weed and some pills or mdma or acid or something while I'm there. I wish I was brave enough to smuggle them in myself but I would be a dead give-away. I'm not a big drinker (I ruined my liver when I had glandular fever) so I would like to think I can a little off my trolley on something other than booze. How easy is it to find, and obviously I've read the threads on the bum bag undercovers, I'm not stupid, and I won't be drunk so I think I will be OK avoiding them. And how much are we talking, and quality. I wish I knew an Italian stoner but apparently Italy is really hard out for drugs so I don't want to waste my time there. Is anyone from Croatia on here reading feeling my pain, and ready to help a girl out!!?? x

Hi random girl,
Most of the questions you asked are in the thread already, either as a direct answer or slightly hidden..
Anyways, as what Ive been reading, it seems like its not even worth it...
But then again, I am trying to find out what will ACTUALLY happen, and what THE LAW says, instead of getting random answers from people who might philosophize for a decade..
I have been living in a whole bunch of countries, including Thailand, Greece, Spain and currently Malta... As you might know, Thailand has gross penalties but weed is widely being smoked... as in Greece and Above all Spain. In Malta, it is very spare, but good quality bud if you know the right people - but yet again VERY harsh penalties in Malta... Also lived in UK for a while and well, since 99% of people here seems to be British.. we all know how easy this is seen upon in UK (in comparing to other places).

I guess I just dont "want" to believe that it has to be so difficult to get hold of, and not worth the risk. Outlook has what, Reggae, Dubstep, HIpHop, DnB!? COME ON, its more or less "the most pot-obsessed genres" there are.. :?

And PS
Thanks everyone for all the info, very useful!
I can by the way give you a few tips:
If you are staying in Venice, check these 2 hotels out!
1. Domus Civica
2. Tivoli http://www.hotels.com/hotel/details.htm ... west_first

3. http://www.hostelworld.com/hosteldetail ... nice/22108 Very good ratings for a "party hostel"
4. http://www.hostelworld.com/hosteldetail ... nice/10203 Cheap and seemingly good hostel

I still have the number of a well stocked Croatian from last year. Though this being your 1st ever post.. you sound more like undercover yourself to me! :)

Because I didn't hear of anyone managing to get off with just a bribe last year. I'm sure it happened but haven't seen anyone posting about it.

http://trieste-airport-transfers.com/

just found this, 181€ up to 3 person which means round 60€pp pula-triest. sounds okay tbh, transfer-busses would have been cheaper but I was too slow...
http://www.italiarail.com/ trieste-venezia which is round 21-35$ which isn't much!

now I can relax !

Still one question lingers in my mind after going last year and the capacity being 3000, and it being pretty much perfect. I remember hearing they've upped the capacity and developed the fort a little more, anyone got any idea of how big the capacity is this year? Dont really wanna be a sardine in the mungo's arena for dmz, had optimal space last time next to the rig
Its still 2006
