I think its because a lot of people on this forum are just sheep following trends set by DJ's deemed to be "acceptable" or "cool" on this forum.

for the last time, noone has said this...this was an assumption made and people defending the set have just ran with that idea...link me to posts with people saying they should have played old-type dubstep...please, show me these comments cos i haven't seen one
imo that's you making an assumption as to what music those two posters would have preferred to have been played...they never explicitly said "why didn't they play they're or others old stuff"Incognitorecords wrote:Uhh..slanguage wrote:eurghIncognitorecords wrote:As Plastician has said before, they can play what they want and there is no set "rule" or "contract" to state that anyone playing at DMZ has to play the old-type stuff. "dmz aint about that style of music otherwise we'd have Doctor P, Datsik, Excision, Flux Pavilion and Cookie Monsta at every dmz."
"bullshit. i expect 95% of DJs on this forum could draw a better, more DMZ appropriate set than was played. but they don't have the profile, so aint gonna get booked."

"DMZ TYPE" then. Sheesh, I don't want an argument, you need to chill out man.slanguage wrote:imo that's you making an assumption as to what music those two posters would have preferred to have been played...they never explicitly said "why didn't they play they're or others old stuff"Incognitorecords wrote:Uhh..slanguage wrote:eurghIncognitorecords wrote:As Plastician has said before, they can play what they want and there is no set "rule" or "contract" to state that anyone playing at DMZ has to play the old-type stuff.
