I haven't made any music in months. I am not sure I have much dubstep left in me tbh. Would like to air out some more then get started on something a little more epic and out there. The type of thing that if no one listens to it, that's fine. I want to make some crazy stuff for myself. In a sort of continuous play LP format. Something I can be proud of. Going to be everything I learned in EDM and beyond. Lot's of instruments and field recordings, etc. May not share it until it's done but yeah I would like to experiment a bit.

i love this shit

nothing new to it, just the way shit is chopped and presented and layered is so perfect for me and what i strive for at times
I'm obsessed with this guy, been following him for a while, bought Limerence this morning and HOLY SHIT. So inspired. Great, so I'll be wasting the whole day on production instead of doing my work, as usual.

This thread is already better than I've ever seen the dubs section.
Dunno how experimental it is, but I don't know exactly how you would classify these. Maybe some kinda ambient house. Not done, btw. Second one's a bit etch-a-sketch.

Experimental music is most of what I do, dubstep is just sorta a hobby.

Probably the most experimental thing I've written to date, compositionally anyway.

8 key signatures throughout the entirety of the piece, lots of modal writing.

Young Montana? is fucking amazing. Saw him do his live show at Streets Of Beige a while back, was intense.

I'm experimenting. Just threw the most mods I've ever thrown on a thor and came up with some crazy grimey shit that might've been able to be used in a typical brostep song. Don't usually listen to that stuff but that's what I came up with. When your'e not feeling inspired, open a DAW, assign some midi controls and GO!!!

I think this is quite experimental. It's at 140 BPM still - wrote it with the intention of using it as a mix intro.
