I thought The Bug collab was supposed to be on The Bug's next album not the Death Grips one

part of me really wants to hear this on a rig, part of me makes me look cautiously round to see who's listening whenever i put it on

Sure, this will always be a divider, but some of the arguments put forth in the past for 'not liking them' have been ludicrousness (no bass? LOL, poor vocal delivery, LOL).

I like the multi-layeredness, I like the paranoid vocal delivery, the raw aggression. I like the plethora of influences. I like the sometimes low-fi production. It's just the cold hard reality hiphop was waiting for. They fit right up there with Dälek, Shabazz Palaces, K of Gahedindie, and a couple of other experimental hiphop artists as far as I'm concerned.

Of course, you're allowed to think different. It's not exactly easy listening (especially this new one, which the more I listen to, is lacking some of the hooks The Money Store had).

I liked a few tracks off the first two albums, but this is just bad imo.

takyon gets me hyped like no other

I've listened to it once. It's pretty good and there's some real great instrumentals. It does feel a little lacking compared to the other two somehow though.

Also I hope this pissing the label off thing doesn't mean they have to cancel yet another tour because I want to fucking see them and they cancelled the last gig I was at where they were supposed to play and they have another one lined up in Bristol soon that I can actually go to.

Listened to the first half of the record. Can't remember what happened but I never finished it, says it all really. Nothing has come close to Ex-Military IMO.

Agree about that but probably for much more superficial reasons.

I like the album but its not as good as money store imo

Tour is definitely going ahead.

This album sounds like a drunk Wobbles finding a mic and a drum computer but really bad.
