Valid point, but the luckiest number is 7 so it's gotta be that now.
Isn't it 8?
I think we should avoid putting too much on this. At least on the first one. We want people to listen to the whole thing, not just leave them at the back of their iTunes Library Shelf...
Really 15 should be the absolute max imo.

not for a good while. still working on the copyright side of things and whatnot. these polls are purely preliminary musings until I get things sorted out. I want the basic details to be democratically voted on so that no one can complain.
once I'm sure that we can actually get this done without a shitstorm, then i'll start asking for tune submissions.

Thanks for taking the baton and pushing it forward people, I haven't read the whole thread as my laptop is not being very fast, but seems like it's going somehwere.

Good work gents,
I liked the old compilations but I think I only listened to them once or twice. It would be cool as I'm too lazy to trawl through the dubs section, and I still don't know what most of you do besides ranting about stuff.
I think 14's a good number, however maybe this should be flexible depending on what you get sent in.

Can someone write a synopsis of what we have so far and where wer're going, with links to where we can send tune, any deadlines etc... everything really and I'll copy and paste it into the OP. I'd do it myself but my computer is just too shit and flash keeps making it crash.

Have any of you checked out 111?

One of the more pretentious ideas for a genre (especially the 'your track must have a meaning' bit), but it's actually a really fun tempo to work at.

Magma do you have an account over at 111? it seems to be quite a small community and where the forum clearly doesn't get a great deal of attention.
if you do could you bump a thread and board admin to activate my account haha

I still have a mountain of lawyer notes on my desk to sift through, but the TL;DR is:
-We'd have to set this up outside of DSF to ensure Ivan is legally unattached
-Anyone who wants to recommend a site, feel free.
-Everyone who submits a tune would have to put their name on the publisher list, that way if they fuck up, they can be sued individually.
there's more but really it's the biggest pain in the arse I've ever tried to put together. Anyone who wants to take over, feel free, but that's as far as I've gotten so far.
