Can't you just wait until electro-house takes back the throne and then ask on another forum ?
Gauging your success by the amount of records you sell, or how much money you make is pretty much synonymous with being a wanker. Success is in the mind, if you're working your arse off for a company you don't care for and coming home and working your arse off completing a track, day in/day out, that is success because you haven't been defeated.
