is that bad now? bit obnoxious to think that techno doesn't allow innovation
I'm not saying he's bad. Peaches / Karenn are good.
And he may get people into techno, but he is heading for the hype machine.

Yes, but the hype is justified.
The music delivers.
Regardless of whether or not it's techno.
Some of it kind of is though.

Get the same edgy feeling. I don't listen to much techno other than this kinda stuff.
Though, when I first moved to the US, I did have an awkward moment when I told a kid I liked techno and he went "OMG U GUYZ HAVE SKRILLEX IN BRITIN?!?!?!"

blawan so hip gettin on dis techno hype!
nah but like i can understand like it bein like hype sayin you love techno and all you know is blawan, but like sayin his music is just hype is wrong, he is just making whatever he wants being heavily influenced in techno. and now because lots of people are playing techno he probably felt more relaxed about making more straight techno stuff. so saying you like techno and mentioning blawan as an artist you like is nout bad, but if he is the only techno artist you know, then you are down on the hype like. I really like blawans stuff, but im tryin to get down with other stuff too

Wow this one was sick. To whoever suggested Jakob Altmann earlier...
This stuff reminds me of Federson.

Can't go wrong with a synth like that. And yes Helix I would like to hear it.

I remember someone telling me that French Fries had that "real detroit sound", so I ask him what he liked from detroit, he quickly changed the subject. Those are the kind of people who used to sing I'M THE MOTIVATION. COCAINE. POWDER and snubbed 4x4 music until Swamp81 came along, who will tell you they're going to a techno rave when Blawan is headlining.
Perc Trax received label of the month at RA. You should all jump on the mix. Also Perc's Wicker & Steel recieved 5th best album of the year at the Quietus.
