Vengeance house pack 2 punchy snares I think one of them was no.27 or somewhere around there, one of my snares from an old sample pack I released layered with a white noisy clap (Sorry for the blurry info)

Eq them all as you would boost 200hz or around the peak of the snares 'individually'

added some reverb to the clappy noise hit and distorted with Overdrive in logic it so it didn't sound as much of clap and more of a snare

Ran all the snares down a bus, boosted the high end took a chunk out of 1200hz ish' where it sounded papery and airy and then added logic overdrive distortion which is really the main part to making all my snares, then added a vst called flux bittersweet which just tightens the attack and release up im pretty sure its just a fancie transient shaper and then added an envoloper and boosted some more attack. Whacked on a cheeky limter to push the sound abit and that was pretty much it.

Hey HalfTone, can you put out a sample pack of some awesome rimshots, and snares along that sort of line.

I'm thinking in the style of Dark Sky or Kryptic Minds

That would be much appreciated :Q:

That's my suggestion

My thoughts exactly

I think High Rankin did the same thing actually. And he actually sold his pack!

It's amazing what you can get away with.

Theres no hidden secret you've basically cracked it! Thats why I give them away for free theres not much to it, if they was making project files and stuff for people to learn from id think it would be much more value to both producer and buyer but thats very rare, I might make a full project file for free

Did you pay for the vengeance sample pack or download it without paying?

Phase Down: The answer is not obvious.

Did the pack not come with a license that tells you that you may not reproduce and/or redistribute the samples?
