So.. it only took 3 years.
and breakups, bassist departure, more rumours of band defunction, then silence.. but it FINALLY came through this past Nov 2012.
if ya haven't checked it out. Amazing way to end my year of 2012 no doubt.
Forgetters new lp - Blake Schwarzenbach (Jawbreaker, Jets to Brazil, Thorns of Life.) & ex Against Me! drummer Kevin Mahon
** production from J Robbins (Government Issue, Jawbox, Burning Airlines, etc.)

Re: punk rock
That whole album is just fucking awesome imo. One of my favorite pieces of vinyl I own, right up there with Bad Brains' debut.Reverb wrote:wuldve thumbed that upSCope13 wrote:Was getting shit the other day in the SNH Plug.dj room for liking the Dead Kennedys.

Re: punk rock
I'm a huge Misfits fan.
I recently discovered The Adicts:
Dead Kennedy's are one of my favorites as well:
Aaaand, Atom & His Package, indie-punk I'd say. One-man band with a drum machine.

I tracked down a fan remastering of all their old stuff into a big collection.
So nice not to have to pull out the vinyls or dodgy old tapes to listen to them anymore.
Was there a board recording of this show or do I have to rip it from youtube?
What I need to do is rip some of my old tapes to digital since I can't seem to find em online anymore.
Who is online
