LOL didn't see that coming!

Seen this band SO many times cause they're local, one of the best live bands I've seen too.
i know!

it's well good when they turn all the lights off and just have blue fairy lights on.

i genuinely can't relate to metal music but the progression and syncronicitys bossk have with dance music is great.

If you like it really heavy, check their first untitled EP. VERY heavy. "Australasia" and "The Fire In Our Throats Will Beckon The Thaw" are my favorite albums of theirs, a bit more melodic and less doom. Their latest albums are decent, but these two are percies for me.

Oh, I just heard the newest Alcest album. Amazing stuff. Though I guess it's basically shoegaze with black metal influences. Still, great record.

Not a double post.. Complying with the new rules about internet speeds and shit..

Yeah, I have many, but if I had to say out of all, I don't have a favourite but I have the majority of respect that I have for these bands to Slipknot, heard them for the first time on GH3 and love EVERY single one of their songs (yes, I'm serious all of them, there's no hate/dislike to ANY of their tracks).

Well, We'll agree to disagree then

On a metal related subject I was very happy to find recently one of my favourite pubs has this on its juke box.

Grimey little place that sells hobgoblin on tap. Definitely the right sort of place to be hanging out an listening to Sepultura.

Apart from the fact they took what others were doing and somehow, despite their knowledge of awesome metal that came before them, made it shit, watered down and OVERLY pedestrian?

In the same way I've never understood how the main bloke from Lost Prophets can be as massively into Bay Area thrash metal as he is, but yet his band still sounds like liquid HIV.

To the dude who posted about 1349 etc just up there....

Some of us like complexity that shows restraint and use of songwriting skill, rather than "riff a..riff b..blastbeat repeat" ;-)
