Great game, nice to see the Rangers walk away with the series.

I'd like to see the habs advance, but I'd also like to see iggy finally get a ring. 16 years of seeing him without one has been painful...plus I always have to cheer on marchand since he grew up just down the road from my grandparents.

Lol are you serious? If thats your logic, then game 7 means 100x more to Montreal. Not only do they have the weight of the, hands down, most insane city in professional hockey on their backs, they have the weight of the whole nation too. A whole nations season ends with the Habs. There's another aspect for you.

Either way, anything goes in game 7. Theres no such thing as an advantage, its all about who can stay consistent.

I am, maybe because I grew up in one of the handful of cities that actually have a) an ice rink and b) a pro team in the country. I'd say we're not too big on Hockey in general though.

I've been following the NHL pretty much since my discovery of the internet though (1997-1998) I guess.
Am a Red wings fan though, probably because they had such an awesome team back then

Yzerman, Shanahan, Kozlov, Fedorov, Lapointe, Draper...

I also applaud this years Conference final, a NYR vs MON game: there are no losers here for me. As for the west: another year without any surprises what so ever: the pecking order has been respected there a couple of seasons now which is what I was getting at with my comment earlier in the thread that the East, though perhaps less skilled, has the closer and more exciting competition.

Probably see Chicago walk away with another one though...needless to say I don't like the Hawks.
