User claims they are "Canada's Only $5000 DJ / Selector / Producer" and then fails to back up their claims with any artistic work, whilst calling out other big names DJs/producers with thinly veiled racism.

First time seeing this thread, I remember all those DOA ones mentioned sadly... I started posting on the main board since about 2002 under a random alias and on the production board with this nick since like 2005 or so. One you guys forgot was the epic BluThunda thread. Basically a kid timestretched some Breakfastaz (I think) breakbeat tunes to dnb tempos, sent them out as demos and fooled some of the big names. Fresh and/or Andy C were playing them out at huge nights, and there was talks of signing him. Eventually someone figured it out, and called him out and it spawned a few old DOA memes and 100s of pages of shit talking.
Also Jon/Spor/Feed Me before he got famous used to troll as a little 10 year old kid pretending to be making tunes in FL complete with photoshopped pics. I still have some of his old tunes laying around on disc, they have that unmistakable Spor sound to them. I also have some really old Noisia tracks from when they started posting in 2002 or so and asking "what's a reese?". They used to kind of spam their tunes haha.

Years back I was on a Nintendo Wii forum, which was dedicated to the console. In hindsight, this was quite nerdy but in fairness it was my first ever forum, aged about 13.
Basically there's two stories, but they're not great.
The first was this guy about 15 from USA, somewhere like Oregon. He was a cliched moody teen who listened to some obscure rock genres and bragged about liking anime animal porn. I think everyone knew he was an attention seeker, but he was ok sometimes. Anyway, one time he went a bit mad and told the forum he was leaving to California because he hated life. He had it all planned, on about $50, to leave and live in a shed or something, he was nuts.
He eventually got banned for spamming porn and hacking into the site. Basically he put up anime animal porn to piss off the mods and it worked, but he did it through proxies and put up a real fight.
The second was less eventful. Basically there was a mod who was very strict. I think she was a housewife, and she basically loved rules and was very anal. Anyway, I can't remember what sparked it off, but I think she did a rage quit as there were more posts in the off topic section than about the Wii. No one gave a shit and she gave a huge post on how the forum had died etc...it was very pathetic thinking back!
