When people thought lets start moshing to dubstep.

When trying to tell people the roots of dubstep and they just constantly believe the bro style was the original.

Seeing dubstep written on an oceana flyer for the main room.

I still think dubstep is a brilliant genre, its just not the same as it used to be. I don't even bother nowadays to argue with someone who's adamant about how much they love bro and how they believe its the best without any consideration for the time before it. Going to nights and seeing people youve seen before was quality when i was first going then as time went on, theres people you dont really recognise anymore and there at times tended to be an aggy vibe and tension on the night. Too much hype.

getting noman to play at my first ever night i put on for cheap because hes a mate, only to have to put him on first to a virtually empty club because everybody turned up as he was finishing up, killed me that did :/
