Im about 180kg or 13 stone-ish, which is apparently overweight for my height.

Guessing you mean 80kg or 180lbs dude?

I'm quite skinny though (59kg) so probably not pushing that much weight.
Might join the gym tomorrow, been putting it off for a while after moving.
how tall are you bud, 59KG is really light you might be a bit under recommended BMI or summat
I'm 5'8" so a bit on a small side so it's not horrendously bad. I think I'm at the bottom end of the recommended BMI scale. Just can't seem to put on weight.

Might have reached new levels of sweating it off at System last weekend...

ha I had that same putting on weight problem until last year, was just on the lower end of "healthy" according to BMI charts. Just. Didn't check my weight in ages (probably a year) on the scales then suddenly BAM I was a stone heavier. Gotta watch it though don't wanna keep puttin it on now that I'm a more healthy weight.
Some people are just more naturally skinny I suppose. I could eat crisps, donuts, sweets, chocolate, pizza and not put a thing on. It's probably good that it's changed cos now I have a more physical representation of the damage I could be doing to myself with that crap

I've been trying to put on weight for the better part of the last 15 years. I easily eat twice what magma eats, so it's definitely not for lack of food whether of the good or bad variety. I suppose it's better than being fat.

how many meals you having per day?
If you want to bulk you should be having at least 5-7 high protein meals daily.

I don't even know, I literally do not exercise at all, haven't really for about 4 years and even then it was only at school/dicking about playing football. Never had an exercise regime, been in a gym about twice in my life. Used to smash up the swimming pool years ago though.
I could probably manage between 10 and 15 I reckon. I weigh like 8 stone or some shit

I've tried to have more than 3 meals a day, but find it difficult to fit that many in tbh (unless a snack at midnight right before bed counts). I'll have another go at it after I get myself back to the gym. It shouldn't be too difficult as I'm surrounded daily by at least 300 guys who seem to have serious gym/food routines/fixations

i used to think the same way but it's easy if you prepare the night before. this is my diet (obviously yours would be different because mine is a low fat/high protein)
Meal 1 - Breakfast (weetbix)
Meal 2 - protein shake (before workout)
Meal 3 - protein shake (after workout)
Meal 4 - Lunch (tuna or chicken sandwich/rice)
Meal 5 - Carrot Sticks/Wheat Cracker & hummus
Meal 6 - Dinner
you need to try and increase your current calorie intake to 3000+ per day. Check out the bodybuilding forum as it is an absolute wealth of knowledge for people in your situation.

hmmm i actually tried and its 0 not 1.
i used to weigh myself like 3 plus times a day but only cos the scales are there and i found it jokes how i would gain or lose like 3lb in hours. then someone changed it to metric measurements and i stopped weighing myself cos i dont understand them

i probs weigh the same tho, like 9st 11 n i am 5ft 11

Hold tight the skinny mandem! Unfortunately, I'm also incredibly unfit with a terrible diet...only exercise is sex with the girlfriend and she's not even here all the time. Will try and join a gym or at least start running/cycling again. But need to sort out more pressing priorities first. May start the old press ups/sit ups routine again though, that's easy enough.
