to my dubsteppa's:
Ok i work at http://www.bobsyouthhostel.nl in amsterdam...so i will give you all the lowdown on scoring beds to for the weekend. First off, you can try www.hostelworld.com or www.hostelbookers.com to book beds in Amsterdam. There may still be some available at ours and other hostels that weekend. Bobs is a walk in hostel, we take very few reservations, and we do fill up most days...The best thing to do is to call the hostel on the morning of the 14th or whatever day your coming (regardless of your location, and tell us how many beds and what time you're coming and we can hold the beds until then) beds cost 21 euro for a dormitory with breakfast, we are smoker friendly, so you can blaze up and we are about 10 mins from the melkweg and have 24 hour access.. probably the only hostel where you can listen to dubstep while checking in or chillin at reception!! We also get cancellations and soemtimes extra beds so if you arrive in town w/o a palce to stay, come by the hostel, you might get lucky...
I am currently on vacation in Barcelona so i cant do too much right now. When i get back (thursday) i will check availabilty and let you know, if theres some space, i will post something and the crew that are DEFINITLY coming can pm me so i can reserve a bed in their name, this will be limited of course...again no promises, but i will try to sort soemthing for the dubstep massive...i if you're the type that wants everything sorted out ahead of time then try one of these palces below..or hit the VVV (amsterdam tourist info) at the airport or centraal station , they can book rooms for you at a cost of 3 euro.
Usually I sort out a meeting point outside the hostel for those that want to go to the party, this was really successful last summer, as we had a great international group come out, and exposed a lot of folks to dubstep for the first time!
feel free to meet us there too...all are welcome
heres some other hostels to check in amsterdam: 20-30 euro pppn. on average

yeah the bulldog is really good also. i couldnt book it for one of the nights so i chose another hostel but ive stayed at it previously and its very nice. right near redlight, and its got coffeshops next door, and a restaurant/bar where u can smoke. basically the beds are bunk beds though. usual hostel business!
err no, i'm coming from italyU Dub wrote:Are you coming from NY for this?pier wrote:there!

We need endorsements from the whole dubstep community for this one, since it is such a rare occasion that so many good artists come over to the mainland, and even more rare that so many people are joining them. We want to rally the troops so that Poax can make more people walk on bass.
