Lovely
It's not as some elitist type thing or anything. It's literally just because it would be so fucking stupid. It was more a joke on the sudden enjoyment some people seem to have for industrial and noise
wait wut.
So lets ignore the fact that seemingly everyone on this forum seems to wear newbalance and airmaxes
you are saying because people have started to enjoy a certain sound, it makes them lesser's for not being their first?

Surely its the people that ride the line that are "worse", people that pretend to be "tru heads" after they have spent 2 months lurking a techno fourm, regurgitating opinions on surgeon and obscure german techno artists.
Suddenly they all crawl out of the woodwork to spout their knowledge from some higher plane

I mean honestly I cant get into techno atall, I cut my hair short on the sides, sometimes wear a shirt and i do own a pair of chinos somewhere.
Im a flat peak and a pair of trainers away from being a tnuc it seems
Maybe ill pick one up for that surgeon corsica gig? I bet he likes 5 pannels

Edit: I may have slightly missinterpreted what you were saying.
You have entirely missed the point. haha.

I guess no-one knows who is behind NON, what sort of a person he is or what the music is like. I was saying it's mildly annoying seeing and influx of people who suddenly claim to be experts on the noisier techno side of things and this then extends slightly into people thinking actual industrial music is cool all of a sudden but it's definitely on some "five panel" thing where the audience is full of people who don't even care about the music much so it's fine by me. The idea of it becoming like that to the point that wearing a t shirt for a legendary but highly controversial industrial artist such as NON/Boyd Rice as a fashion statement is so ridiculous and unlikely that if it actually happened I would have to resort to telling people they're being fucking idiots. It was meant as an extension of people thinking industrial is the in thing in techno at the moment to a ridiculous conclusion as a joke not that trendy idiots aren't allowed to listen to actual industrial music after hearing H appa play Wolf Eyes or Surgeon play Whitehouse in a mix...

You weren't wearing a NON t shirt and you don't look like one of disclosure. Other wise yes I have seen you on a night out :corntard:

NON is Boyd Rice. A notorious industrial musician known for constantly baiting controversy to an almost prank like level. One of his core beliefs he has expressed throughout his career though is the idea that the smart and the physically strong can and should rule over the weak. He's also heavily involved in the church of Satan. He has gone on record as saying that he doesn't support Nazism though in case people are wondering.

He also loves Tiki Bars.

Also check the Sandwell District fabric mix cd's track-listing to see why techno hipsters might find out who he is...
