Its been dead for years. It's just the fan-boy/girling that shakes people the wrong way. Its Dubstep for christ sakes. Just made by normal bods in their bedrooms bar about 30 guys who actually have a real career from it, anyone whos been into the sound longer than a couple of years has lost the spark what makes things profound and life changing.
I guess thats what really killed this place, well that and dungeon.
Ez legendary,
I fully agree and I wasn't trying to make out that 'every tune' has to be a unique 'amazing' experience, but that what I think the man said to me resonated (I might not have quoted him ad verbatim), in that the music and the nights bring people together, and through that energy and positivity people's lives can be enriched. Its those kinda memories that any hardcore raver or producer or promoter feed off and they stay with them for years. If I say that has meaning and I can relate to it, then that's the deal, who the fuck are all these people (essentially) saying "you have no right to think or say that". I've said it and so it is. I don't give a fuck if you think its wrong. What makes it wrong? Who decides? You lot? Your opinions are only that. You'd (not you legendary) would do well to familiarise yourselves with the concept of HUMILITY i.e not thinking every fucking hotch potch knee jerk opinion that you have is VALID. Up to now, no one here has put forward why they feel they have a right to invalidate what another (random person) says. Let me spell it out: YOU DON'T HAVE A RIGHT TO INVALIDATE ANOTHER PERSON'S IDEAS UNLESS YOU ARGUE THE POINT. Since this thread is now way beyond pointless, there isn't a point to argue.
legendary big up to you, you make some really original stuff and I know you spent shed loads of time helping others in the production forum so big up.

of course you have a right to say what you want
we also have a right to call you out on it if we think it's stupid
also you obviously do give a fuck that we think it's wrong otherwise we wouldn't be having this discussion

yo man pretty sure most ppl here have experienced peng raves with incredible atmosphere and positivity, dropped a few bangers and chatted some cosmic fraff, and can at least understand where ur original post was coming from. i havent really seen anyone saying u have no right to think it (ok maybe mason but he has no soul).
but, basically.......
(quoting since i cant articulate myself on account of being mental retardations)

id like 2 point out that 99% of the posts in this thread have been not serious or pointless or jokes, did u not read it befoer posting?
bennyfroobs wrote:do u throw a wobbler like this when people take the piss out of you a bit in real life?
u kinda blew dis thing outta proportion man. like what would u do if one of ur m8 in the pub said "lol deep" (which is all diego rly said) after u said that first quote/post? i mean unless u got some sort of weird friendships where u dont take the piss out of each other, i imagine that could very possibly happen.
u kinda just few off the handle straight away and then went on a rampage screaming disrespect, thats not really the way to gain respect

DFS isnt just full o negativity now. people get props & support when they do cool things, release tunes, put on nights and all the other shit too like getting married. there still threads when ppl talk about good DSF rave meet ups. still a lot of great tunes being shared and appreciated. theres just a lot of non serious piss-takery too

Doesn't anyone recall the writing style? Pretensions of intellectual and literary grandeur coupled with an inability to construct simple sentences. An overwhelming compensatory self aggrandizement?
I don't know how you can get played like this.

i was outside a club in london in the early 00s. mala rolled up in a quite frankly ridiculous white tracksuit and bucket hat wanting to get in. they denied him entry for dresscode reasons. he threw a massive strop and got straight onto his mobile, apparently to someone already inside the club. then was a tense standoff between mala and the rest of the door staff for a few minutes. then some asian dude rocked up, apparently they were mates, and started attacking people at random.
i think loefah was there too.
