i reckon you can mosh to it, distance especially. any sort of 'high octane' music is good for it i think. when i hear noisia's 'stigma' i get a shot of adrenaline to the veins, it seriously makes me want to start up a good circle and just nut out. i think it definitely depends on the crowd though, if its like a more laid back crowd then moshing is out of the ordinary, but if the people are raving hard then i think its all good.

moshing is really good spirited aswell, the idea isn't to hurt each other, but just to satisfy your adrenaline rush

its important to add that many of the people most affected by moshing in a dark club are the smaller people. skinny people. imagine you're 70cm/5ft'2 and you weigh 110 pounds, and some 180cm guy that weighs near 180pounds elbows you in the head. what do you think is going to happen? now imagine that 70cm person is your girlfriend. this is how a group of people can fuck up the dance very quickly if they can't recognize when to calm down.

be considerate, and know when to calm down and act according to the space you occupy..... or move away from people that don't want to mosh and find your own area.
It's also important to note that the darker spots in the club are close to the back. If you're there dancing, fair play. If you're there like a smug prick standing close to the DJ stroking your chin... well, don't cry when you get hit in that chin. Stand in the back or off to the side, not on the DANCE floor. It's not called the smug chin stroking prick floor for a reason. Better yet, if you want to STAND and listen to the music, try the line out in front of Love... I hear the queue is the best place to stand if you want to avoid dancing... but there are not lights for people to see which beer you are holding, what hoodie you are wearing, etc...

but then again, that was the argument for darkness in the club too... so that the focus would be on music. Again... maybe if you don't want to dance YOU should get the fuck off the floor so others can. What is more rude... dancing or not dancing?

You move. We already were moving and people are crying about it. Wouldn't want to bump you on the way out of your view of the DJ from up on your perch.

not dancing when on the floor is so much more rude than dancing off the floor. i hate it when i'm in the dance and some fuckin bitch is getting all shitty cos people are bumping into her and stuff. either shack out or get the fuck out

Exactly. And none of these bastards had a negative thing to say when Skream was crowd surfing and shit. "Hey, I'm trying to look cool and here you are crowd surfing and spilling my beer blud. I'm trying to meditate here in the middle of the circle pit innart"

Plus it's not even 'moshing', it's more like a community brock-out, especially when it's close quarters in a packed club

Nobody's badmind, everyones smiling or bass face. Powerful music ellicits a Powerful response.

You naysayers come like some sensationalist news exaggerating it into the 'wall of death' or whatever.

I'll bet you'd call this moshing:
:deephouse party:
Serious. Im sure everyone agrees that elbowing someone in the face is not acceptable but thats not what
we're talking about. We're talking about people letting go of inhibitions and really MOVING to the music. the
most fun ive ever had dancing was in a 'mosh pit'. Sometimes you see people in there who dont understand
its not about shoving people or being aggressive. Some people behave in ways that defy explanation.
thats life.

Bottom line, if it really bothers you, try moving away from it. Thats why we have legs, so we can move around.

Let's put this in terms of science...

when water begins to boil, molecules move faster until they collide with each other...

don't like the heat, get out of the kitchen or go check out a Shackleton show. No dancing at all. You'll enjoy it much better from a lotus position.

i'm saying though, why do you guys have to be such homophobe. about it . no one is saying not to dance, i love dancing. im a junglist. junglists brock the fuck out for a big tune. im just saying dont "let go of your inhibitions" to the point where you've spilled me and my 5 foot tall girlfriends beer all over us and knocked her over.

also its not as black and white as youre making it . you guys are basically saying if im not jumping up and down knocking into people then i should go stand in the back? fuck yourself. if a tune makes me move , i move. just dont fucking knock into me like a twat.

When a tune is not moving you, try moving yourself... to the bar to get a beer.

Have you been to Dubwar? It's not a fucking moshpit. My girl is 5'2 and like 100lb when she was 9 months pregnant... right up front at Dubwar every time when we lived there. I never once heard her complain when someone bumped into her or accidentally spills her beer.

What about Perkalerk? She's been flat out assaulted on the dancefloor and shit before, the situation was handled properly... then she went back to brocking wide. She didn't sit and bitch about it. Just saying. It's not as black and white as you make it either. Just because you have the right to walk down the sidewalk, that doesn't mean when you see a car jumping the curb you stand your ground. You get the fuck out of the way. Common sense, more uncommon than one might think yea?

Have you ever seen a real moshpit? Been to a store signing even? Fuck, Christmas shopping is more dangerous and you guys are all fucking bitching. STFU.

P.S. why not throw some racial epithets in there while you're gay bashing you fucking prick?
