my beat is coming along ok. have done most of the making on headphones so far, so it will need work on monitors, but its sounding quite funny! i'm not into those vocal samples of the woman singing but i've tried to do some funny shit with it.

Yeah, mine is not technically music, but it's coming along nicely. I'm going to call it "Competition Track." Nice ring to it, no?

unklefesta, are the tunes going to be displayed anonymously to make sure there's no favouritism before they hear the tunes? i think this would be fair, like the way the forum voted for the pressing issues release. i love the mystery of trying to guess who made which tune, too.

I thought we were spoilt for choice for bass compared to the lack of synths/pads...

happy with the pack tho  very interested to see how my track holds up to the rest

agreed with the bass. im enjoying most of my track but im getting sound pops and phasy stuff going on with my bass tracks that i think i need to re record them. most of the time they are masked but everyonce in a while its really noticeable and bothers me, so im assuming it would bother others too.

are people finding that they are using most of the samples in the pack for something or are you pretty minimalist in your approach to the track?

I tried to use as much as possible :)

Probably used about 60-70% or so of the samples
