But I agree with a lot of the sentiments in this thread. I had a great time with my ex, with nearly 2 years of bliss... and she decided she didn't love me anymore.

After the way it ended (my emotional attachment to her, and her not-so-quite-mates fucked me over something rotten), I'm just happy to be living my own life.

I have friends telling me to go out and get laid, and even one offering to set me up with people, but I just can't see the point in the effort (for a lack of a better term).

I'm one of the (dying?) breed of people who like to take things slow, see how it progresses, and even go on dates (yes... the concept still exists) before going any further...

Anyway... rant over Need to go get food!

Amazing. Me and you both, brother. Girls these days just seem to wanna fuck, and I'm actually not a huge fan of it... I'd rather be with a serious girl for a year than have 365 one night stands. Evidently I'm a minority. Also, my ability to clean myself up and wear a nice suit has come in useful before.

It, sorta sucks spending the night with a gal when you know she'll be in some other dude's bed the next....and think nothing of it. Which is the worst part to me.

i went through a 2 year dirty period were i'd bring a different girl home each week....

dont get me wrong, i'm not like that at all, it was all just to spite my ex that accused me of cheating and did so herself...

i was in a relationship for three years until almost a year ago.

since then i've only liked/been liked by or hooked up with chicks with boyfriends. can be very tedious and it gets very annoying.

i finally cut myself off from that game and am in the "got none in 08" boat so far.

hopefully that'll change soon as this girl i've had my eye on recently became single, so i'm gonna give it a bit to blow over and then see what happens.

i'll take a good relationship over fuck buddies over a one night stand anyday, in that order.

right now i want something in between fuck buddies and a hardcore relationship though... whatever that is.
