Tell you what, some of you have some beautiful taste in music.
It's refreshing to see fans of Boards Of Canada, Envy, Eno, Yann Tiersenn etc. fans about. I have a theory they all exist on the internet. Gives me some kind of hope for mankinds tastes

Definitely as essential acoustic album. Brilliant for falling asleep to or having a J in the countryside in the summer.

Cleaning up my room I found an old cd Greg Packer did for Knowledge magazine.
It's a cd presenting the label Phuturistic Bluez.
In my humble opinion this was the best dnb around at that specific time,
very moodfull and deep.
And while a lot of dnb producers started to concentrate on specific styles I think PB was one of a few labels abble to insert a bit of a rougher side aswell (I think they even got a release with a Technical Itch remix on it, not very common for a "liquid funk" label either)

There is loads of House like this.
Check out:-
Ron Trent
Larry Heard/Mr Fingers
Theo Parrish
Moodymann/Kenny Dixon Jr
Oasis (Omar S)
King Britt
I-Cube
Pepe Bradock
Morgan Geist
Naked Music (rec label)
Om Music (rec label)
Infact the list is endless. Just look towards the Deep House/Detroit/Chicago end of the spectrum.
Once the House bug bites it bites hard.
Probably the greatest House tune of all time
Can you feel it???????????????????????????????????????

John Williams has made some beautiful film scores, check out the Artificial Intelligence, Missouri Breaks, Eiger Santction and Schindlers List soundtracks.
Also worth a look are the Nocturnes by John Field, a contemporary of Chopin.
I also reccomend the american group Belong who's 'October Language' is a staple on the Hi Fi.
Also Lisa Gerrard, Library Tapes, anything by Louis Haiman, Mannuel Gottshung, Yasume, Mark Hollis/Talk Talk last three albums, Maps and Diagrams, Marvin Gaye (Hear My Dear lp), Max Richter, Cocteau Twins, Pete Namlook, Arovane, Brian Eno, David Crosby, Dudley Moore, Francoise Hardy, John Cameron ('Half Forgotten Daydreams'), Digitonal, Ochre, Detroit Escalator Co, David Whitaker and his Orchestra, Roger Webb, James Clarke, Keith Mansfield, Dead Can Dance, Dif Juz, School oF Seven Bells ('Chain'), Harold Budd, anything by The Black Dog particularly 'Bytes' and 'Spanners' , anything by Bibio but the new lp 'Vignetting The Compost' is blindingly good, Carsten Jost, Chick Corea, William Basinski, Velvet Underground, Ulrich Schnaus, Newworldaquarium.
Thats all i can think of at the moment and roughly what i'm listening to this week.
Next week it will be completely different.
You could do a lot worse that check some of these artists, they all come highly recomended for thier emotional impact.

For those that dig the ace Nujabes, check out DJ Deckstream and Kuriosoul as well as Bullion and the Fat Jon/J Rawls collabs under the moniker 3582.
Awesomeness!
