i'm gonna fully hold my habds up and say that i come from a posh family but use bare slang all the time

not cos i think it's cool... but cos i live in the middle of a city and all my mates use the same slang... so i picked it up along the way.

fuck all this class bollox anyway... the only people who think it's important are ignorant imo

just talk how you do and be yourself innit?

blatantly havent read all this post - way too much but like its stupid to take it too seriously, its just words. there's nothing wrong with people speaking in a certain way if they feel they identify with the mindset or if it somehow makes it easy to articulate what they're tryin to say - if someone speaks like that then its quite likely there's something about the culture or the language that they identify with rather than them just tryin to sound cool. what a gwan with the hating??

how dare you !!!!!!!

you vowed never to speak of that again.

remember how i changed the annunciation of your name from from the uh syllable to the oo .

and how i decreed that the name nose was ridiculous and so granted you the power of one more vowel .

damn you bum nose , curses.

Transatlanticism and the black cultural diaspora has resulted in a linguistic exchange which has been especially evident within London for decades, with music subculture being a key proponent of this nexus.
spot on. it's how language evolves.

sticks and stones, sarge. skepta called me bumnose way back in november. i cried then but i'm a stronger man for it now. you'll have to think up something new like womb-boys or something.

sorry to out your secret. i should have gone to the newsoftheworld and netted some spondoolies.
