This isn't hip hop, drama doesn't sell. No one is going to support a thief...if the artists aren't happy with you selling their tunes, YOU HAVE STOLEN THEIR TUNES!!! what more proof do you need? The more and more you talk the more and more you dig a hole for you and your label. Fix up!

IMO Prolific seems to have more to say that makes sense and that explains some of this. But I have not read all these pages. At any rate I feel sorry for all parties involved, sounds like a mix up gone way wrong and will destroy credibility and piss alot of folks off.

Too bad so sad. Probably did not even need to happen.

this whole thread was brought to my attention after i mentioned to a friend that i found this album on soulseek. i think the whole thing stinks to high heaven. i'd hate to run a label with this kind of track record.

whats really wild is that IF in fact FP does release some really hot tracks, people WILL buy them, if they dont get leaked on soulseek/torrent sites first.

meditate on space bar weight.

anyhow, what part of "you sold tunes that were not yours to sell" doesn't compute in the "stolen tunes" calculator? you come on here with mad attitude, instead of groveling to the artists you fucked over, and you think anyone is gonna give a shit about your OMFGz0rZ MASSIVE DUBSTEP album?

seriously. grow the fuck up and work it out.

I do truly believe Prolific had good intentions in releasing these tunes. He was told that they were all legit and that contracts were signed. He also agreed to pay us for these when he gets the quarterly statements in.

With that being said, he obviously never saw the contracts or got in touch with ABZ, Cringer and myself. Which definitely puts him in the wrong. Im sure that Prolific (being the professional he is) would agree with me on this. Extinction was already set to be release on Pure Filth Audio and Cringer and ABZ's tunes were already out.

The damage has been done. There isn't really anything any party involved can do now to fix it. He could take the tunes down but, Like I said previously, the EP is on pretty much every torrent site on the internet.

I just read the entire damn thread and sounds like alot of shit went way to far. Should just take the tunes off of FP and forget about it. I wouldnt be worried about getting paid because the tunes are tainted.

I dont know the first thing about opening a label... but what i do know is that you dont put out tunes without consent FROM THE PRODUCER.

Thanks for the tune DLX.

P.s. HTown Record shop is open for biznizz. All the tunes from the dubs section will be available. I PROMISE I WILL PAY YOU GUYS.
