not saying there isn't

just correcting incorrect statements
Skreamz remix accounted for 3/4 of the digital sales.
I haven't looked at figures and for the record prefer the remix but working in a shop and talking to customers in croydon i can only say that the name skream mystified everyone buying the single when i told them the remix was done by a local artist....im' not trying to diss him....i do all i can to promote and sell his cds and as you may know have ordered in every dubstep cd available and we sell more titles than oxford street as a result.....i don't get the mentality i really don't on this forum....it makes dubsteppers look bad.....how did it account for 3/4 of sales exactly?
I'm not saying you dissed him, just correcting incorrect statements.
Whether people recognised it was a local artsist or not in Croydon is irrelevant, I don't expect masses of people who go into your shop to know what dubstep is much less who skream is or where he's from, but I do expect them to ask for the remix they've heard battered on the radio.

The B side MADE THE SINGLE. What are you smoking.
I work in a place where the single is sold

nobody asking for it knew who skream was when i mentioned he (being local) did the remix on the b-side

whether it's better or not people didn't buy it for the remix...

the album is in the top ten at the moment...do you think that's all down to the remix as well?

of course her album is in the top 10

skream said she would make it big cos shes talented

and probly did the remix partly with the intention of helpin her along

if she recognizes this then wht are you on about

rethink your attitude young man
I don't understand you and i think you have crossed wires...

Nothing i've said is personal towards skream or la roux...i just don't see how it wouldn't have sold without the remix...i'm 29 as well so not really young and my attitude is as positive as it gets...

http://www.dubstepforum.com/viewtopic.p ... 6527a6c80a

I'm just not one to blindly follow...i think skream should go gold as he has some wicked tunes...in the case of la roux maybe i got the wrong end of the stick as i don't listen to the radio or watch telly but as far as i can see the sales came from la roux....if anything it was of mutual benefit...

amazing news for skream, and a good look for dubstep.

oxford street HMV must have about 10 copies of the white label, feel sorry for everybody that paid through the nose.
