If it is Kahn i want to see Dread on there! Would kinda make sense with its roots feel and getting plays by the likes of VIVEK and co.

Yeah that's definitely my favorite tune by him.

Okay see this is the thing with Swindle for me, I feel like in a lot of his tunes, he'll have the most funky & soulful groove going, but he only lets the groove ride out for 16 bars or so, and then drops into some crazy ass rhythmic synth line. I still rate the fuck out of Swindle, but I just wish he would let the more melodic grooves ride out sometimes!

I personally would've shaved off the mo before getting immortalised in the Medi catalog.

Gonna have to disagree with you guys. As cool as the jazzy, melodic parts are, Quest and Silkie already own that shit. Swindles drops however... when I heard the drop in Do The Jazz for the first time my brain imploded from the freshness. Never heard anything quite like it.

Last thing we heard about the MEDI010 repress is that they had just gotten the test presses back. And that was about a week ago or something so I reckon it shouldn't take long now.

But the thing is. Neither Quest or Silkie is really on that tip anymore. Silkie is taking more of a tech funk approach and the new Quest tunes are just raw emotion, but not really that jazzy. That's not to say that I don't still love both of their new sounds, but it's just not the same jazzy shit that they used to be on. Regardless, even if they were still on that heavy jazz shit, that particular sound that they were pushing was being represented by an extremely small group of producers compared to the all the other different sound styles, so I'm saying that another jazzy artist could never hurt since it's such a under represented sound in the grand scheme of things.

I have it from a reliable source that the speculation about a certain new producer releasing on Deep Medi this year is true. Possibly another up-and-comer will be releasing on Medi as well.

There are a few bits (including Shallow Diving) that supposedly are on their album in their amazing URB mix from last year:

Don't know what's going on with Channel Zero, now that the Desto release isn't happening and Can't Take It was released on Rwina. They've been working on many other projects as well so Channel Zero might activate again when it's time, who knows.
