yo all! Posted a few times, but it's now that I see this thread.

Name's Geth, 16 year old producer from Wales under the name "Switch Fusion". Primarily do DnB but have branched out into dubstep recently. I've been played on Fab & Groove's Radio 1 Show, BBC Introducing, BBC Radio Wales & XFM after only doing production for 9 months :)

If you wanna check out some of my productions, go to: http://www.myspace.com/dnbswitch (not much dubstep up there atm, but got a few ready ;))

Cheers

hey all,

My name is Ian and I'm Chicago, Il. I've never been super exposed to any type of electronic music, other than on the radio, but a couple of my buddies have some mixes in their cars from time to time. Dubstep is easily some of the sickest music I've ever heard. After my first listen I was absolutely floored. I've been playing guitar for the past 7 years and I remember the I wanted to pick up the guitar after hearing Rage Against the Machine for the first time.

But anyway the shit don't matter - thanks to everyone who makes this forum possible and gives n00bs like me a chance to learn how to branch out musically.

Hey dub headz,

I am a newcomer to the forum. Just started a dubstep blog, figured I'd dive into the scene, spread my passion for dubstep music.
This is the first genre of music that I've actually gone completely crazy for, like most of us I think I was just waiting for dubstep to come along.
I'm from Chicago, it's just starting to get a buzz over here, so...

Hopefully you guys like the content, any feedback is more than welcome.

Looking forward to chatting with some of you,

*BIG UP to the Dubstep Forum for having this community going.

My site is http://dubliminal.com

Hopefully you guys will find it useful!

Thanks,

--Inakohma

Hey :t: I'm 17 and I'm from Bristol.

I've been into making music for as long as I can remember (bands and stuff) I've been DJing for about a year or so but I've only been producing for about 4 months; I'd like to think I'm getting the hang of it, still not sure though.

I started listening to Dubstep about a year ago and the whole thing just blew me away, such a innovative genre and it gave me something new to listen to.

I've just started putting up some of my mixes on youtube and I've got a few projects I'm working on at the moment :D

hey

my name is neon ordnance, and i'm a dubstep producer and dj. i started producing with fl studio about 7 years ago, making crappy rap beats, and i haven't looked back since. i moved from rap to house to electro to bassline and now i've been making dubstep for a little under 8 months. i also dj the odd gig or house party. i live in edinburgh but i'm originally from washington dc.

i'm hoping the guys at dubstepforum can help me get my music out there... the dubstep scene in edinburgh is still in its infancy and while there's a lot of support there just isn't a whole lot happening yet. still it's way bigger than it was when i started uni in '08.

anyway you can check out some of my tunes on the links down below. i've got a free ep coming out in a month or two, so i'll be promoting that around here and stuff. i'm also dying for more exposure so if you run a blog and you dig my music then pm me and i'll send you a 320 to blog.

peace.
Neon Ordnance

new here, been lurking for a while, thought id make a formal introduction. ive been a fan of dubstep for a while now, recently started producing(if you can even call it that), i've realized everything in my life i've half-assed, dropped out of school, etc etc, and so far music is the only thing i see me applying myself to fully, besides trying to get more weed when i smoke all of it. i live in chicago, not many people(that i know of, atleast) have heard dubstep around here. anyway, im just hoping i can have a solid future working with dubstep music, thats all i really care about at this point.

I'm new here too, well to the forum, never really got round to it. First got into dubstep when I saw Skream on my 19th birthday in Edinburgh, I had never heard anything like it. I distinctly remember Filth being played and that was the tune that stuck out (although I didnt have a clue what it was, thank god its a classic!)

I've been making beats for a few years now and had a couple tunes released on an Aberdeen based label. Just about to get a single released so its happy days..

I guess I like dubstep because of the influences (bet everyone says that). It just seems to be the music that everyone wants when they go out to bass heavy music.. but they never quite got it til now.
