dubunked wrote:Also RKM why do you think Magneto VIP is commercial? Cause of the vocal sample? Doesn't sound any more or less commercial to me than any other kenzo tune
I couldn't really say, more just a feeling, the vocal sample and the bassline just seems kinda 'smooth',
I have no idea wtf I am talking about

noone's saying they hate/d this stuff. i think it's more to do with the fact that a lot of these tunes aren't as memorable/timeless as i (or idk maybe we?) thought they were (like loefah or coki - especially with all guys that came afterwards and ran both sounds into the ground) + people's tastes change
and let's face it, dubstep is kinda shit nowadays, or at least compared to what it used to be. maybe it's just me, but idk i can't get excited over j:kenzo, chord marauders, vivek, gantz, biome, compa et al beats

Still get goosebumps when i re listen to those old youngsta mixes with loads of loefah tunes in, like when midnight or crack bong remix kicks in. can't even begin to think how many times i've listened to them

always thought jazz lick was better than jungle inflitrator, reminded me of Red Snapper's making bones album (one of the best albums ever imo - everyone listen if u havent heard it)
norwood, encona, >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> shame those tunes never came out
scotty is also a banger. i liked the tunes when they were more breakbeaty and less halfsteppy....... ive probs said that loads on DSF and forgotten about it
