So I've wanted to do this for ages and finally took the plunge last Thursday - a 100% techno mix. Except for maybe the last tune. And a few others. But u kno we're all a bit house/techno bi-curious these days.
Even a cutla tunes in there for myself that I don't totally hate yet which is a bonus.

Gingy - Swirlie
Psyk - Distane
Breach & Midland - 101
Kommune1 - Gotta Have It
Warren - Walker
Shifted - Sektor A

Zed Bias & Paleman - Furrball

i would not call that techno at all lol
just cos its 4x4 and it sin a techno mix doesnt automatically make it techno!

I would say the vibe and feel of the tune makes it techno for me.
uk funky is more about the 2step rhythm playing off the kicks and snares, that tune is more 4 to the floor with the snares fitting in within the other percussion rather than being a standout element.

IMO, of course.
mmm. elements of both perhaps but a large amount of 'bass' stuff has techno influence these days
much closer to funky than techno though imo andd id disagree man plenty of funky tunes are 4x4
doubt beneath would call it a techno track but theres only one way to find out is to ask the man himself. soemthing i dont care enough to do.
tuna is tuna whatever mystery hybrid genre it is
benufo just potsed this and reminded me of how much of a banger it is
hilarious video too XD
