England (probable) : Hart, Johnson, Terry, Lescott, Cole, Milner, Gerrard, Parker, Downing, Welbeck, Young.

Think Milner's probably the best option they have but they should probably move Young left drop Downing and start Carroll.

I'm still on a semi-optimist flex for tonight due to low national expectations... scraped 2-1 victory, I reckon. France will score first.

Also, have we discussed the random "England players visit Auschwitz" segment on MOTD the other night? Fair play for going (I would've taken the opportunity too), but the interviews afterwards were odd to say the least!

Im predicting a good result for England. A 2-1 defeat.

At least we will have scored. More likely to be a 0-0 tho. Going to be an exciting one.......NAHT.

The heavily publicised trip to Auschwitz was just cringe worthy.

I'm not sure why we look to footballers to speak out against racism so much, when you're going to get the same proportion of racists (casual or otherwise) in football as you will in society in general. Fuck kicking racism out of football, it's not going to happen until it's kicked out of society. I get the whole role model thing where a kid will look to say, Rooney, giving the obligatory anti-racism speech and take it on board, but if their parents are at it 24/7, it isn't going to make much difference. :(

2-1 to France tonight. Early goal from England I think.

Anyone else noticed lineker seems to always be finding something hilarious off screen on MOTD, been going on for months. Sometimes when he's talking it looks like he's really struggling to keep a straight face.
