have you seen the number of injuries to even just the defense? the fact we're playing this well is down to the Belichick genius

the patriots dont have a good defense anyways, it doesn't matter who fills in

also, they have as many injuries as a lot of other teams

you take away vince wilfork and jerod mayo and your defense is gonna suffer. and the patriots defense when healthy is pretty underrated

Pats have 7 players on IR/PUP/Out for the last game.
Colts have 18.
Packers have 14.
Cardinals have 11.
Only the Ravens, Lions, Chiefs, Dolphins, Eagles, Rams and Titans have fewer.

how many of them are starters?

That's a stupid logic. If your best back up goes down, the moment a starter goes out temporarily, the team is worse off. If the back up and the starter goes down, you're down to 3rd choice guys (Colts have had 6 different O-Line combinations in 6 weeks, another back up got injured today).

I can only talk for the Colts so here goes:

Stanley Havili - Starting FB
Ricky Jean Francois - Starting DE/DT
Jeff Linkenbach - Backup Guard that was starting after 1st choice went down
Samson Satele - Starting Centre
Greg Toler - Starting CB
Chris Rainey - Starting kick returner after Dan Herron went down
Mario Harvey - Backup ILB, but special teams don
Dan Herron - Starting kick returner after David Reed was released
Delano Howell - Backup SS
Dax Swanson - Backup CB
Reggie Wayne - Starting WR. Future HOFer
Ahmad Bradshaw - Starting RB after Vick Ballard went down
Dwayne Allen - Starting TE
Vick Ballard - Starting RB
Justin Hickman - Backup OLB
Scott Lutrus - Backup ILB
Lawrence Sidbury - Backup OLB
Nathan Palmer - Backup WR, starting kick returner

Some of the Packers injuries are a joke as well (Rodgers, Hayward, Finley, Cobb)

So yeah. Tell me more about how the injuries have particularly effect the Pats more than other teams.

Matt McGloin almost tied the record for most interceptions in a game...and they still almost scored as many points as Denver did on KC.

A Giant lol to Eli too. He had a lot to pout about :cornlol:
