Ok thanks for the answers. No need to dick around with the answers and give your opinion on whether your like the genre or this particular type of brostep. I was just trying to find the sub genre if there is or was one. No need to be a dick and say it's shit music or whatever. No one gives a shit just answer the question lol. I honestly could care less bro. But fuck. This literally gets me know where. I guess i"m going to have to troll some of these artist on soundcloud to see who they follow and find more artist tat make this type of brostep then. Thanks though.

yeh the snare on 3rd invokes a more chill/emotive vibe , and was pioneered by artists such as Mt Eden Dubstep (this was before dubstep became mainstream and you had to search youtube for latest hits ofc. shout to the heads that remember.)
the 'dub' comes from the act of dubbing acapellas over the top of such beats, pioneered by such artists as Mt Eden Dubstep in their famous undergound hit Mt Eden Dubstep - Sierra Leone. ('wooah' is heard repeated throughout)

There's a channel in youtube called DarkstepWarrior I think, it's owned by a label that puts out a lot of tunes like the ones OP posted.
