Cool.

Wouldn't mind some opinions on where to take this track, im feeling to vary the synth a bit, cut it up with another synth sound to make it a bit more interesting.

Love to get some ideas for this as i am getting a bit stuck with it.

Thanks in advance

The Resurrection

First tune after a while(computer crash, etc)! It's a bit minimal at this point, but will work on beefing it up. Feedback appreciated, hope you enjoy!

@ levitius.....the track is cool. Good ideas and you should try what you said above, about the synths. Only thing i can suggest is beefing up the kick some.

@ toki....nice vibe overall, but seems like it could use some eq on the kick and sub. Some variation on the lead synth would be interesting also.

@ mike....only heard two seconds of it and spam took over :( you should use another host....soundcloud, virb, for example.

Any thoughts?
I am liking the Intro to this, has a nice vibe to it. Not feeling it too much once it drops though. Bring out the bass more as it doesn't have much power or presence currently.

I am liking the background little beeps too.

allright, last night I recorded the last tune.
this one has, compared to my other tunes, a lead melody.
would be lovely if you could give some serious critics. what isn't good, what can i improve, what's absolutely bad...

i worked quite a while on the beat&bass structure. I think they fit very good together and one of the basslines (there are just 2) supports the beat and pushes it on the first hit.

has been done with ableton&reason. It hasn't been mastered fully yet.
it's premastered with t-rex.

XXXXXX

looking foreward to hearing some advice/critics so i can improve that tune tonight ;)

EDIT: i took out the link coz' a better mastered version is coming up tonight....

thanks for the feedback! i tried to master the the track a bit and have now replaced the original one. any difference?

edit: i will change the bassline too, its very repetitive :?

Thanks for letting me know... have switched to soundcloud now :)

link still in sig

Had a listen to 'The Resurrection' too by the way. It is indeed very minimalistic right now (with about 4 mins of silence  ). It's got a really nice feel to it though I think, I really like the tone of the beat and the samples at the start are really eerie.

allright...

here is the updated version i have done after a few hours in the basement studio... any critics? what is good what not?
it's mastered with t-racks and eqs/compressors in ableton itself.

anyway: tell me abou tthat tune, what can i improve, is there anything which is specially good?

thank you guys! whoever comments something constructiv will get a comment back on his tune of course ;)

checked out your tune man - not my type of dubstep but some suggestions I have is to make your drums sound cleaner. the claps could use some EQing, or hi pass filtering to make them cut thru a bit more. and that kick you have with the sub bass on it is conflicting with the bass because they're in the same frequency area, I'd suggest cutting the lows of the kick, because you want that to come thru - you already got low with the sub.
