But how long have they been making music? In a year or 2 will their music be considerably better? Compa I think will, I love his music but I can only see it getting better and better. A 2012 release won't be as powerful as one next year imo. I'd much prefer to wait a year and have a killer compa release on medi end of 2013 maybe.

yeahh that would be well good, I think Kahn deserves a Medi release when he comes out with his next Way Mi Defend-style tune

Kahn's 'DREAD' surely has to see a Medi release. The only label fitting for that tune if you ask me

To be honest, I'd rather see more stuff that doesn't "fit" Deep Medi, Ulrich Troyer, Old Apparatus, etc. be released on there. Maybe it's just me.

I think Medi is a really diverse label. The only thing that's really consistent is that every release is quality. Like the Harry Craze release vs Kalawanji, two totally different but equally amazing records.

How did I miss Clouds of my list. The Clouds releases are probably my 2 favourite Medi releases (Rest Of The Cycle
).
Don't get enough attention because the tunes don't go hard on the floor/system/whatever.

Yeh. The Clouds releases really passed me by untill recently. An LP could (and probably will) be stellar.

I definitely see Kahn on medi over Compa. Not because one's sound 'fits' better than the other. But I just feel that Kahn is way ahead of Compa musically. As someone stated before, Compa has a big hype but over all his tunes aren't overly impressive or nearly as creative as Kahns.

The hype around Compa is probably more to do with his potential than his releases thus far. He certainly has the potential to be on Medi but like I said I'd rather wait.
At the rate Medi are releasing atm I'm sure there'll be something to keep all of us happy!

And it's all good stuff too, I wouldn't worry about who deserves a release on medi because if they do deserve it then they'll get it. Medi is on fire and consistent as the runs so it's all good

pretty much this. nothing against the guy but allow mentioning him in a deep medi thread.
could defo see kahn on medi, a guy involved in the acetate culture who doesn't feel the need to boast about it all the time too. on an azalea tip as opposed to way mi defend though
